I pulled the trigger and ordered a bag last Thursday. (Thanks Chris!) and decided to throw in all my gear to see how it would fit.

2 pairs of shoes
1 Shaker bottle plus 2 bottles of water
Lacrosse ball
Tape
Wrist wraps
Towel
Gym clothes & (work clothes)
Speed Rope
work Laptop

after all of that i still had plenty of room to add more

Rob Brown has a great review http://www.board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=74210

I currently carry:

Main compartment:
2 pairs of inov-8 laying flat.
T-shirt change
Windbreaker and or Sweatshirt to change into after workout.
The nasty bag for sweaty gear (don't overlook, this is a great feature)
(over the weekend, I easily put my lady's shoes, tshirt, and hoodie in there too), although I had to stack the pairs at that point.

Right main pocket:
5 Rolls of tape
Hand counter
Compression sox
Compression sleeves*
Compression calves*
scissors

*..only worn when a limb has pain

Left main pocket:
First Aid kit
Insta ice pack
Ace bandages

Front pockets:
Wallet, Keys, Phone, memory cards -valuables pocket
Camera Batteries -velcro pocket

Water Bottle sleeves:
Two large water bottles
Two large Mason jars 'shakers'

With my regular setup, the bag is about half full. I have yet to press into all the pockets on the front.

Attention fanny pack fans.

Just noticed on FB that Datsusara is having a solid deal on the Joe Rogan Utility belt.. 19.95 It looks bigger than a typical fanny pack and could be pressed into more than just a fanny pack. I'm going to put my loose bits in it.

Re: Gym bags...

Picked up the Light Battlepack (LBP-02), and you can see the quality of the bag right away. However it does feel a little on the small side for my purposes. It will probably fit most of my gear, but something a little bit taller would be nicer, and in all honesty I wish there was a size between the regular Battlepack and the Light Battlepack.

Also I wanna add that Chris was very responsive when I had questions regarding shipping. Customer service was above and beyond.

Re: Gym bags...

Christopher,

I was thinking of picking up the Light Battlepack as a bag for school/gear whenever I need it, which is seldom. How do you think it would work for that purpose?

Just a little worried about the size if you said it was a little small since my current JanSport is a taller back pack.

I think it would be fine, should be enough room for any kind of school supplies...not sure about gear though cause I don't know what you'll be packing.

Thanks. This was enough for me to pull the trigger on the PRO as a Crossfit and Work bag. Post my thoughts when received.
