shoulder Injury

hello to all,
I had shoulder surgery in January to clear out pretty significant arthritis. I was told by my Doctor that my cartilage in my shoulder is worn almost to the bone in one area. I also have a "slap" tear which was not repaired due to the extensive arthritis.
I have been having trouble doing some exercises like presses, back squats (due to flexability) and kippling pullups. I have been stretching my shoulder as much as possible but the pain at times is overwelming.
Has anyone had a simular injury and been able to continue doing Cf exercises? Does anyone have stretching techniques I can use that will speed my recovery or flexability? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
