Question about this rowing machine

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/spo/3363406752.html
This is the craigslist ad that I found this rowing machine. I cannot spend the $900+ for a C2 and this is right near where I live. Anyone have experience with this machine or know anything about it? Any help is greatly appreciated it.
Thanks!

Re: Question about this rowing machine

This rower gets trashed in reviews on Amazon:

Honestly, C2 is the low risk, high value choice. I bought a water rower 2 weeks ago and we have been running it head-to-head with our Model Ds in the Fringe proving ground.

After testing it for a few weeks (full report and videos will come on our blog), my preference for C2 machines is only stronger.

If you can't afford $900 for new, find a used one. I have been tracking every C2 that shows up on craigslist in Austin for the past 3 months, and every now and then a model C shows up for $500 or less.

I agree with Peter's comments. Sooner or later you will find one that pops up on the grid for under $750 - maybe less.

C2 Performance and Longevity are unmatched. And, perhaps most importantly - the Concept 2 is the measuring stick for CrossFit. It's at all the competitions, whether regional or local and it's a must to train on them if you are competing on them.

We have never heard of an issue with quality, performance, or workmanship. C2 also conducts training on rowing techniques. That's says a ton of the company and the product.

Good luck on your search!
