Except the funniest part is, a third of the way isn't even really that far from a push, much less a running dive!

FWIW underwater dolphin kick does look a lot like a kipping pullup.

Re: Sharknado

Also, do any of these ticket-hawker people on the boards actually think they are going to get hits less than two days out from the Games? For most of America, a three day trip to California isn't really a spur-of-the-moment thing...

Re: Sharknado

Watch if Rich loses because of the swimming event he's going to come back next year and be the best swimmer in the games. Just like 2010 when he lost due to rope climbs

Unfortunately, rope climbs are a lot easier to learn than swimming... Especially with his/nearly every elite CrossFitter's build!

Re: Sharknado

Jeff is right, swimming is a skill that takes time to develop. You gotta put the hours in to really start understanding what works and some of the concepts. I know, and I am not that efficient! 9:15 or 9:30 in a 500m combat side stroke was my best.

Re: Sharknado

The way I do lengths at the pool is I jump in the water, hold my breath, walk along the bottom of the pool and get out at the other side.

Swimming is hard.

Re: Sharknado

Jeff, are they trying to hawk tickets on the boards here?

From what I've seen lately, most people were just trying to sell back their tickets versus scalping them.

And it seems they are having a helluva time selling them. Been seeing the same thing on FB with so and so at this box or that trying to sell their tickets because something came up or couldn't get out of work.

I had been thinking gold tickets would be able to be scalped till this week, especially till Thursday. But I think you can still buy Silvers on stubhub. Not sure.

Re: Sharknado

Ok, now I see what you're talking about Jeff. Now there are more than a handful of people just trying to make something back.

They are scalping themselves. Bummer.
