Hello everyone, I've been lurking in the shadows since Jan 2007 or so. That is when I started doing some scaled down versions of the WODs. I am very thankful for this site and all of the free information. It has totally changed my perception of being fit. A little history.... in Aug 06 I weighed in at 406lbs. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. So I got my lazy but in gear and started working out. 3 days with weights and 3 days on a stationary bike. I could only do about 9 mins on the bike then. In jan I ran across crossfit and startd doing those "type" workouts that I would put together myself. Fastforward to today and .... I weigh in at 296lbs, no trace of diabetes, and I am riding my mt. bike on some pretty tough trails. I am looking forward to my first pull up and muscle up. Once again many thanks to crossfit and all those connected!!!

Robert,

Congratulations ....

Very inspiring, keep everyone updated. You will take away excuses from those that don't believe they can change the direction of their life. And actually save their lives.

Again, congratulations and even though we have never met. I am proud of you.

All the best,

Wade Miller
