Lucas!

That's awesome!! I was just going to start my own 100 push up challenge, adding one per day, but this is way better! I'm totally in...

Please also note that there is also the 200 sit up challenge:
http://www.twohundredsitups.com/ (WFS)

and the 200 squat challenge:
http://www.twohundredsquats.com/ (WFS)

You did mention doing the 100 push up challenge as a 100 "pull up" challenge, but I'll be doing this with push ups, since I'm currently trying to get all of my WOD's with full non-knees down push ups. Can't wait!

Re: 100 push ups

This plan seems somewhat complicated.... but with my initial test I completed 17 full push ups. This places me in category 3. These "max push ups" tests are performed every 2 weeks, so until then, my schedule will be:

Wk1, D1: 10/12/7/7/9+ (60sec+ rest between sets)
D2: 10/12/8/8/12+ (90s+)
D3: 11/15/9/9/13+ (120s+)

Wk2, D1: 14/14/10/10/15+ (60s+)
D2: 14/16/12/12/17+ (90s+)
D3: 16/17/14/14/20+ (120s+)

Max out test 2 used to determine level for following two weeks.

Re: 100 push ups

Why 100 regular push-ups? Why don't you guys work on something cool... like 50 ring push-ups, maybe?

21 handstand push-ups is a good goal as well.

All I'm saying is that 100 push-ups looks like too much specialization for an insignificant reward.

Julius, I look at it this way, if you can do 100 straight pushups it should make things like Angie and Cindy easier. Course 21 HSPUs is without a doubt cooler to do.

Re: 100 push ups

a) if you've been cfing for a while, the 200 squat program is a joke. my friend's initial tet was 201, and that was just cause he got bored.

b) they tell you to squat above parallel

100 SERIOUS good form push-ups is no joke. I know they're one thing that I struggle at. Like someone else mentioned, there's a bunch of wods that have them in it.

I think I'll start this program tonight.

Re: 100 push ups

I don't really know why you would want to do this. Yes, 100 perfect form pushups is no joke; however, this program should be exclusive of other programs if you expect to get any decent results. Are you willing to stop crossfitting for several months simply to try and attain 100 pushups?
