Rampage vs. Rashad

Rampage or Rashad, who are you picking?

Me, it's Rampage all day. KO in the 2nd.

I agree, I hope Rampage gets KTFO in the 2nd!

oh wait - you meant...

Seriously though, I liked Rampage until I saw him as a "coach" on TUF. Then I lost all respect for him.

Re: Rampage vs. Rashad

His coaching ability has nothing to do with his fighting ability.

I hear ya - and I totally get that.
However, I lost all respect for the guy by the way he treated his team. To say he was classless would be an understatement.

Conversely, Rashad earned my respect during that season of TUF

I would like nothing more than to see Rampage get pounded. Whether that will happen, or not, is a different matter, but that's how I'll be rooting.

Anyone rooting for Rashad, how exactly do you see Rashad winning this fight?

Re: Rampage vs. Rashad

He'll either outwork Rampage and win by majority/unanimous decision, or he'll catch him tired and flat footed and get a KO.

Rampage hasn't ever been KO'ed due to a punch. He took 15 kicks and knees to the face from Silva in the past, soccer kick from Shogun and got KO'ed. But, punches haven't KO'ed him in the past.

Dan Henderson couldn't out wrestle Rampage. Rashads not going to be able to hold him down and dry hump him for 3 rounds.

Yeah, I know Doug.
But there's a first time for everything.

PS: Dan Henderson is a small LHW - he's much better suited for fighting at 185#. When you talk about pure wrestling, weight/size is an issue no matter how good the smaller wrestler is.

I hear ya.

It's to bad about Lil Nog and Forrest, I was looking forward to that fight.

By kicking the crap out of his lead leg (ala Forrest) and taking him down a couple of times every round.

But seriously, Rampage is slow and fights flat-footed; a perfect target for leg kicks & TDs. All Rashad has to do is fight smart...

I don't know why everyone is taking Rampage by KO on this one. He couldn't even finish Jardine (and Greg Jackson now has a much better fighter in Evans to fight Rampage with!)! He lost to Forrest!!

All Rampage has is a punchers' chance...
