Help...loosing too many weight

At first I want to apologize for my english, because I am from czech republic.
I have a little problem with my paleo diet. I am 194 cm tall and before paleo my weight was 178 pounds...I wasnt fat and I was in a good shape, but now after one week of strict paleo (just meat, vegetables, nuts, lots of oliv oil) my weight is 171 pounds. Of course I am more ripped then ever, but I think that I am too slim now. And also i think that my weight is going down too fast
I start paleo diet only for one reason. to be better in Xfit, but I dont want to weigh 160 pounds
Every day I eat a lot of meat and eat a lot of fat (250 g)...What should I do?

BTW I am a student so I havnt got much money

Thank for any answer

Milk seems to be a quick and easy way to add calories for most. Other possibilities include: cheese, nuts, avocados, butter, oils.

If you need more calories, why not load up on nuts and shoot olive oil?

Re: Help...loosing too many weight

You don't have to be strict paleo. If you can handle milk, I don't see a reason to re-add it into your diet. You're still more than 90% paleo, which is very good.

I've been in your situation and I have two different solutions that worked (I'm a student too):

1. refeed days. Carb up, low fat. I would usually add about 5lbs after a refeed day. The problem I found with this is it sort of defeated the whole purpose of paleo, I thought, and low carb. The biggest problem I had was while I was refeeding, I felt terrible. It wasn't a guilty feeling, more like a sick sort of feeling. Day after wasn't very good either. Eventually I did perform better, but I didn't see the gains right away.

2. Just eat more in general. This I found to be a very good solution. Kept the ratios about the same, just increased calories until I wasn't losing weight.

Re: Help...loosing too many weight

Concerned about staying Paleo and adding carbs? Try yams, sweet potatoes and squash, especially in your post-workout meal. Lots of starchy carbs which favor refilling muscle glycogen over liver glycogen. My wife leans out too much if she eats like me, so she gets those in addition. We're trying to stay away from dairy.

I've been getting my information from http://*************/ (wfs, some mild language)

Caio,

Charles

and +1

Milk is not 'evil' just because it's not paleo. It can be a healthy way to add muscle and good weight. If your body doesn't do well with milk, or you just want to avoid it, fine, but some good, natural, healthy milk can definitely help you keep up your lean body mass.

If you are eating very healthy and loosing 7 lbs in the first week, you probably aren't eating enough. If money is a problem, then look for ways to get healthy food cheaper: buy in bulk, and prepare it yourself, for example (you may be doing that already, but there is usually SOME way to get it cheaper).

Some censorship here, search iTunes podcasts for 'Paleo.'
Google 'Paleolithic Solution.'

Re: Help...loosing too many weight

Thanks to all. And Charles: Add carbs after workout....it doesnt seem to me right...my crossfit trainer said, that human body on paleo diet takes energy only from fat and dont need carbs...but when i take carbs i think that my body will be dependent on them
