Warrior Dash

Anyone ever run one of the races?

http://www.warriordash.com/ (wfs)

Looks like a blast and we plan to field a large crew from my affiliate. Trouble is that it's all the way off in October and we're now looking for similar events. Anyone know of any non-traditional, multi discipline contests the are a good fit for CFers?

Re: Warrior Dash

There's already a thread in the Competitions forum:

The answer is yes, there are several folks on the forum doing this.

Re: Warrior Dash

They have a Warrior Dash in Texas, too - I would have done it, had I been in the Sates - looks like a blast!

Re: Warrior Dash

I and about half a dozen people from my box signed up for the Northeast race. Looks like it'll be a blast. I haven't run a regular 5k race since high school cross country. Ought to be interesting.

Re: Warrior Dash

Just in case the Warrior Dash isn't extreme enough for you check out Tough Mudder.

Re: Warrior Dash

Did the one in GA earlier this year, planning to do it again next year. Doing the USMC Mudrun in Columbia SC next month. Same concept but it's a team event.
