Re: JC's Crossfit & Zone Log

Good to see you back, James. I've had a tough time keeping on-track myself lately; without any races/competitions to keep me focused, my training and diet go to a less dedicated level of consistency.

I noticed there hasn't been a whole lot of running, DUs, rowing, gasser-type movements in your recent log entries...:stir: All prodding aside, I've found that throwing some gasser-esque movements like those above have really helped me conserve my air on fires.

thanks dave, and yeah i really need to start running...i still suck at double unders but ive been trying lol, and i dont have a rower...havin your own garage gym can suck sometimes I havent been posting every single workout i do on here but im tryin to get better at doing that, even with the workouts i don't post on here i need more gassers. Get back on track man after doing a good month and a half of strict zone and training and then falling off the wagon getting back on track has been like the hardest thing in my life to do. Dont be like me !!!

Sam, no idea why i taper down....figure it doesnt hurt anything? lol

Re: JC's Crossfit & Zone Log

don't taper down... you are not a bodybuilder doing a burnout set. Work to a max weight and then it ends. tapering down is for concentration curls.

Took day off, went to cedar point yesterday which was AWESOME. Tomorrow is my 3 month probie test at the fire station....been busting my *** to study for that and have been very busy meeting people there to train and go over stuff, getting to bed early.

Might do a tabata session before bed so its not an off day....and thats something i can do in the apartment
