Does anyone have any suggestions for a solid web page. I was thinking about creating it myself but am up for suggestions if a simple template is out there.

Is the content static or dynamic? Are you selling items?

Most of the affiliates are using typepad and the feedback i've heard is very good.

There is tons of free templates on the net. Some are easy to customise, some are very complicated.
If you are into Flash, I suggest you check Swishmax; they have dozen of free templates, but you need their software.

I personally prefer to make my web pages from scratch, because that way, I understand how everything works properly and it is easier to make changes.
If you want a good website builder as well as hosting service, look at Blue Voda. They're cheap, helpfull, and their software is user friendly

I am soon to be an affiliate and wanted to get a headstart on the webpage. I noticed that many of the affiliates had similar sites and wondered if they were basing it off of the CrossFit site or there was something they were all sharing.

I will most likely start out with the typepad and see how the blog setup gets things going.

Yes John, Blue Voda takes existing sites. Sites don't have to be built with their software to be hosted by these guys but I don't know if they would modify existing sites.

I built a site using MS Publisher and published it to the web using the web host I already had an account with, bluehost.com. Very easy to do. It's somewhat static but very easy to update which we'll do often. Also through bluehost, we plugged in a gallery, and a blog (wordpress) which we'll be trying to update daily as well.
