Recovery from foot surgery

Surgery was this past Wed. Wearing a soft shoe for three weeks at which time stitches will be removed. No workout involving that leg until stitches are removed. Using crutches for now due to the pain but I am allowed to walk on it.

Issue: maintaining some measure of fitness until I can resume normal activities. Any practical advice will be appreciated.

Re: Recovery from foot surgery

Any upper body or core work is fine. Alot of people seem to like working rings skills while their lower body is injured... I would agree.

You can also do unilateral strengthening with the other leg like pistols and whatnot if you're up to it. Otherwise, just pass for now.
