Yeah even going all out I can't get any more than 11 during a 20 second tabata interval.

I've been doing them w/ sprints and rows & I notice It's not my muscle that tires out but my cardio itself, maybe working a bit more on endurance could give you a better time? try adding sprints in between your sets?

I'm on day 24 and they seems to be getting easier. However, I have had to double up twice cuz I missed 2 day. I find I get winded before my muscles give out though.

i've been programming monthly challenges for awhile now and i always take the overall volume into account. some challenges are more suited for a 'grease the groove' type of high volume programing (burpees) and other movements are better for 3x's a week type of challenge (thrusters). for the 'burpee to pullup' month challenge i made everyday a plus 2 from the previous day. that way you don't spend as much time with high rep days. for the 'cindy' challenge i added +1 round a day but only for 20 days instead of the whole month.

so you might want to do a 30 day challenge starting at 20 and then adding +2 a day. maybe an additional goal, other then volume, would be to try to maintain the same time each day or only add 4 seconds each day for the additional two burpees.

just try to be smart about this and choose a schedule that you think will help you make the most progress while staying injury free. if your wrists or knees start hurting then drop out of the challenge, wait until you heal up, & try again.

Starting with 1, add a burpee a day for 100 days. Time it on day 25, 50, 75 and 100.
