...and remember to carry this lesson to the rest of that list.

People get paid a ton of money to convince you that the food that they're trying to sell you is good for you. It's your job to discern whether or not they're right.

Re: Subway Questions

I think this thread is a good highlight of the differences between Paleo and Zone. It would be pretty easy to get your blocks in order and eat in the Zone at a place like Subway -- but it's still that you are eating.

Probably why so many on here continue with Paleo even though it's not CrossFit nutrition anymore.

The zone would approve mcdonalds or general tsaos chicken if it fit the target macronutrient ratio right? Whereas paleo would not?

Yes. At least it's been reported that they did when that exact question was asked at a nutrition cert.

Yeah. And I think Barry Sears said something like that in one of the CFJ videos.

As far as I know they still support the paleo diet though, it's just not highest priority.

I don't know if it was just the result of the split with Robb Wolf/Whole 9 or something else, but yes they have -- CrossFit Nutrition is now Zone, not Paleo.

Can you please show me where this is the official stance?
