Breakfast in a Hurry

Folks,
I'm looking for a little meal guidance.

Monday through Friday, I'm rushed for breakfast. I have PT from 0630-0800, and immediately following take a quick shower and head into the office. I hit the gym again or go for a quick run around 1130.

A microwave, but no fridge, is available. I can prepare food the evening before, or I can try to wake up a few minutes early and prep some type of workout shake (not sure what). However, I would prefer not to eat before PT, as it goofs up my stomach.

Can you recommend a breakfast solution? I'm trying to add another 10lbs of muscle to my 162lb, 5'7" frame and don't want to skimp on breakfast.

Thanks.

Re: Breakfast in a Hurry

Get rid of the name "breakfast." It's just another meal, eat some food. What would you eat otherwise? A shake seems to be a good solution in your situation. Thats my normal meal. I've been eating hard boiled eggs lately, but you eat them raw "rocky style" too.

Re: Breakfast in a Hurry

Throw 5-6 scrambled eggs, salt and pepper in a glass microwave safe bowl. they cook in about 90sec. Add a piece of fruit. Yer good to go.

Microwave no fridge?

Left over meat from the day before, or as I do, take some from the 10 lbs of chicken I cook at the beginning of the week.
+
A can of coconut milk + baby carrots
-or-
celery and guacamole from the store. I like the whole foods 8oz containers. Pop it open and scoop it with the celery.

Either above meal should be somewhere around 700 calories and it fills me up for a good 4-5 hours.
