Exercises Movements, technique & proper execution

i am not that new to working out. Been in the military for five years but could someone explain to me the diffrences in a snatch, a clean, and a jerk i have watched the videos but they all seem to look the same alittle help please.

Much props to crossfit i have gained about twenty pounds in two weeks thanks to it. Looking forward to it on my up and coming deployment.

Many principles are very similar across all three lifts.

Snatch is from the ground to overhead in one movement.
Clean is from the ground to shoulder in one movement.
Jerk is from the shoulder to overhead in one movement.
