rotator cuff

I'm told by my orthapedic dr that my shoulder pain is my rotator cuff.
he gave me a cortizone shot, it might have felt a little beterf or a while.
I am doing the therapy exercises at home, but i don't think it makes much difference. I have not had an MRI that might be the next step.

The bottom line is this shoulder pain is holding me back from working most of my upper boddy stuff... the stuff i need to be working on the most.

Has any body experienced rotator cuff issues and are completly over it now?

if so what worked for you?

thanks for any help

Diesel crew shoulder rehab protocol: wfs

I would also work on more shoulder mobility stuff.

If there's inflammation take it easy. Rest, ice and massage. None of these are indispensable... do all of them.

DON'T AGGRAVATE IT.

I completely overcame rotator cuff issues (and a torn labrum to boot) by following Bill Starr's rehab protocol to a t, using light barbell presses. See the sticky on Rippetoe's board for details.
