I have no idea either on the OHP. I have to press tomorrow so I am going to play around.

Good Luck to all who accept the 20 Rep CFT

I am going for 800#
I'd like to see that on video. Awesome, if you can get it done Derek. I might try this on a progression. Start out 20 reps of each, pretty light, do it again a couple weeks later bump up the weights. It's getting more and more interesting the more I think of it.

Re: 20 Rep Crossfit Total

We're looking at standard 3-5 minutes between events, touch and go, no regrip off the ground, if you have to take a breather you do it from the hang. I'm going to try to figure out where I can fit this in; with Unit PT and the MP WOD I'll have to opt out of something to squeeze this in. I'm going to shoot for:

BS 205#
SP 95#
DL 225#

20R CFT: 525#

Wow...no way in heck would I try this with that short of a rest. Usually after a 20RM squat it takes me 10+ minutes to remember my name, let alone start moving.

Re: 20 Rep Crossfit Total

Is it going to be like the CFT where you do three attempts at each lift.

Re: 20 Rep Crossfit Total

Here are the Rules that I am going to use when I do this in 3 weeks.

Squat

20 Reps
Rest at the top of rep with weight on your shoulders.
No time component, just finish 20 reps.

Press
20 Reps
Rest in the pressed position. CAN NOT rest the bottom on the clavicle.
No time component, just finish 20 reps.

DL
20 Reps
Touch and Go at the bottom, re-grip must be done in the erect position. (Like Bear) If weight stays on floor more than touch and go it does NOT count.
No time component, just finish 20 reps.

You are welcome to take 3 attempts like CFT, but I suggest you practice and pick weights that you can do in 1 try.

Rest between the exercises is limited to 30 minutes.
