No...At this point, I'm kind of ashamed that I don't have a pair.

Way to go brother!
Especially inspiring given the fact that you were alone.

Keep up the good work.

I can't wait for my knee to heal so I can do this

You'll be back soon...Hang in there!

The main reason I recorded it was mental for me...I imagined everybody was looking at me through the lens of my camera!!

Current BW is about 175...

Thoughts...

#1 Everybody HAS to do this!
#2 I got an instant super headache right around rep 15 or so...
#3 At rep 10 I thought there was no way in hell I was going to do it.
#4 When I walked out of the door after doing it, I was down right giddy!

Video to follow...just wanted to let everybody know.

Dude! Awesome, just plain awesome. Glad to see people out there reveling in the pain properly. Couldn't agree more with the list. Once you've seen the dark side, it's hard to describe, but you want others to see it as well.

Ditto. Maybe I'll order up some soon. :-/

I am hoping to reshoot a 315x20 attempt with better form, but at a much lighter weight. I was 240+ in the original vid and am currently 220 and falling...210 would make it 1.5XBW, which sounds like a nice goal, though I've admittedly lost a bit of strength along with the fat, so it's gonna be very tough. I definitely think using a camera is a good motivational tool for completing the pain. Let's see some more vids!

Do it - some of the best money I've spent.

...and this is including the ridiculous shipping cost I paid to get them shipped from the US.

Re: 20 Rep Squats - My (ugly) 315x20 inside

I forgot to post about it, but I started doing a routine similar to Crossfit Strength Bias and am including a set of 20 rep squats once a week. I started fairly light (205lbs) to give my body and CNS plenty of time to adapt and have added 10lbs every week since. Today I did 255x20 which was quite brutal, although I think I should be good for 265x20 next week. Here are a few of my observations:

1. 20 rep squats build some serious mental toughness. The ability to force yourself to keep going, to do one more squat despite all the fatigue, pain and discomfort, is a useful ability. To put it another way: most other things seem easier by comparison. My normal squat workouts (usually 3x5) seem almost trivial now and my 5RM has gone up quite a bit. Forcing out a couple extra air squats during a workout like Cindy isn't as tough as before. Pushing yourself for those last few miles of a 10k doesn't seem nearly as bad.

2. The most difficult part of the 20 rep sets for me has been my back. It seems to fatigue more than any other muscles (probably since it's working at all times) and every extra second I spend panting and trying to recover for another rep makes it all the more tired. In some ways this is beneficial, as it's building my back stamina/endurance which has definitely helped with deadlifts, but I feel like that will be the limiting factor long before my legs give out.

3. I don't think I've changed my diet much, but I think these 20 rep squats are helping me add some mass. I'm up ~8 pounds over the last ~5 weeks and much of it seems to be muscle (based on my waist size not changing and appearance in the mirror). I can only imagine what 20 rep squats + GOMAD would do.
