Lisbeth, are you coming? I'd be so thrilled to say hi to you in person! I've appreciated following you around these boards....

You betcha Susie! I'm looking forward to meeting you and the CF Albany folks too!

(I'll probably be the only competitor from CFW but we might have some spectators too.)

And if I can haul my butt up to Albany and lay it on the line, I challenge all Northeastern affiliates to do the same!

Life is short -- don't wait for the time to be perfect -- jump into the fray and do what you can with what you got!

Re: East Coast CF Challenge

I should be there.

I'm working on getting a group together from CrossFit South Brooklyn.

Woohoo!!!! How cool is that? Now everybody's gonna sign up. Looking forward to meeting lots of Crossfit gals! (We have showers on site, so you don't even have to go back to your hotel to shower if you wanna get clean and hang out after your events.)

Re: East Coast CF Challenge

I'm in as of today, and I have a buddy (newbie to Crossfit) coming with me. I'm coming off an injury and he's new to all this, so if we can do it, anyone can. Two months of hard training can do wonders!

Thanks for putting this together... should be outstanding!

A note regarding hotels: as of this evening when I booked, they only had "king" rooms available (no rooms with two beds). This leads me to believe that the hotel is filling quickly as Suzie suggested... if you haven't booked yet, you may want to get on it.

Hey, I answer to lots of things, just don't call me late to dinner!

Yeah, hotels is hard to come by near the gym, and king rooms are all that are left. There's another, cheaper, smaller hotel called Cocca's that folks can try, and there's a Marriot as well on Wolf Rd. (more expensive) but the only hotel with a block reserved for Crossfit is the Hampton and they only have king beds left!

If anyone wants any other hotel recommendations, email me and I'll try to help.

Susie
