You know how some of the workouts have names like Fight Gone Bad and Angie and Gwen? Well... do all the workouts have names? Because I am really confused at this point. This crossfit stuff is so random its crazy. I really need those journals. "sigh"..............

Totally agree, get a subscription to the journal, it's worth the 20 bucks easily. As for the WOD's with names, one of the journals covers them in depth, but generally these workout are "benchmark" workouts that help you to gauge your progress. They get posted every now and then and upon completion you can see what types of improvments you have made.

Spend the $20! Support this site and those that are providing such a service to your well-being. Give it a bit of thought. How much value-added is CrossFit providing compared to your gym? Like I said, spend the $20.

I really have some difficulty understanding how anyone can use this site on a regular basis and not subscribe to the journal.

And it's peanuts if you buy from England atm. I agree with Andrew, you won't find better fitness information on the bookshelves or in the newsagents.

I've told you this before Parth, I know your in a unusual situation with your parents holding the money, but try to sell them on spending the $20 on the CFJ. Patrick makes an excellent point about supporting the site. All of the world class workouts are free, I feel spending the $20 makes me a part of the family and allows the site to continue to be free. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Parth,

Just tell your parents that all the cool kids are subscribing. I'm pretty sure that will work:wink:. Seriously, if you absolutely can't convince your parents or anyone else to subscribe for you, search the workout archives from the main page (look at the last 8 months or so). As far as I know only 7 WODs have names (if you include FGB).

Hope this helps,

Ryan
