While I know many of you are anti-endurance events, this event always has such inspiring stories involved.
To see John Blais go from an Ironman last year to confined to a wheelchair this year really shows how debilitating and fast ALS is. It was touching to see another guy run in his name.
The Army Major, injured in Iraq and now an amputee. Saluting at the finish line.
The 76-year-old nun. What more can I say?
The school teacher hit by a car and now races on the hand bike. Unfortunately, she didn't make the bike cut off.
And of course, Team Hoyt. Though they didn't make the swim cut off, still an inspiring story.
