21 Unbroken HSPUs easily. Head touching the floor completely.

RX'd Nasty Girs in 10minutes. Will be faster next time.

Back Squat - 265
Press - 108
Jerk - 160

Power Clean - 168
Strict Muscle Ups in a row - 6


Today's workout was -

95# Thruster
C2B Pull-Up
24kg KB Swing

It was hard.

Full Warm-up:

1k Row,
Burgener Warm-Up x 2 with PVC then once with 33# bar.
Mobility Drills

Ring Dip work:
40 total in sets of 5, 4 & 3 .. working on ROM, Control & Maintaining a hollowed out position.

4 Rounds:
5 105# Power Cleans
10 Box Jumps
15 GHD Sit-Ups
20 Double Unders


Going to Adult Gymnastics class tonight! I've been searching for a place to play and finally found one. I'm going with my gyms resident gymnastics master. We're going to take full advantage of the springy floor, trampoline, rings, parallel bars and foam pit..

your strength numbers are pretty incredible, and i don't just mean 1 reps. the weights you do your workouts with are very impressive. great work!

Power Clean:

Got 163 ..
Failed at 168. (Current PR) Didn't have the heart to try and fail a second time.
143-153-158-163-168f-153

Overall everything felt heavy this morning. Dropped the weight to 153 to see if I could get a little faster and some extra confidence.. Didn't work.. That felt heavy, too!

I think I need an extra day or two of rest. I feel totally worked - no energy, speed or pep in my step.

Bummed..but there's always next time

bailed on that wod... wasn't feeling right for some reason. Probably from all the bw OHS the day before.

Instead did a 1 Mile run:

It hurt. Too cold.. had to stop to use my inhailer..

115, 125, 135, 140f, 130, 130
First time working on these with any real weight and it was fun!


Off to the grocery store to stock up on a bunch of paleo/zone goodies!
