1 mile swim time

For a 1 mile swim, what times (i.e. 20-25min, 25-30min, etc.) would you rate for a beginner, advanced, elite using the Crossfit standards for those levels, similar to CF Seattle's standards? Pool, no fins, free-style/side stroke.

Re: 1 mile swim time

When I swam I went a 15:55 in college. Not a bad time but it wouldn't even come close to a NCAA qualifying time. The american record is something like 14:26
