Re: A good breakfast that doubles as PWO?

Why not plain white rice then? That, most likely, wont bloat as its just pure carbs, not like grains that are full of mess

Plain white rice sounds like an awfully boring breakfast to me when there are plenty of tasty grain options out there that don't bother me at all. I like to make eating an enjoyable experience as well.

Usually 10oz of ground turkey with spinach, some other veges and half an avocado. Then half a cup of whole almonds before bed, can't sleep if I'm hungry.

I just don't think hitting weights on an empty stomach is a good idea.

I usually eat a bowl of cereal as part of my breakfast every morning and have found that some are much better than others in terms of bloating issues/stomach sensitivity.
I'll try to think of something to add, I'll probably drop the steak to save money and time and just have an extra protein shake later in the day. I could just throw in another banana for more carbs.

Add some carbs in there, yams and/or sweet potato. No wonder yer hungry all the time, not hitting your macros.

Usually eat a sweet potato or yam and lunch. Trying to keep my budget low, NYC is damn expensive

Re: A good breakfast that doubles as PWO?

Being asian/peruvian, white rice and eggs with breakfast meat was pretty normal as a kid. So that would be hecka easy. One of the first meals I would eat when I was super young was rice and steak with and/or eggs.

I know my boss would really like oatmeal with his eggs every morning and sometimes bacon or sausage.

Plain white rice or steamed white rice is so good.
