Steven Low posted video for someone else's entry and it was regarding nerve glides in the lower extremity. These are the nerve tests/treatments I was talking about. You can give them a try to see if it does anything.

remember that no pain, no gain does not apply to neural mobilizations. Too much stress to sensitive neural tissue can do some damage.
