forearm/wrist pain

I started getting pain in my left forearm/wrist area about 6 weeks ago.I had to stop benching and db pressing.I would ice further up the forearm.I just did weighted pushups(closed chain pressing) for all this time. I have since benched twice again. I benched yesterday and did 1 arm flat db press as assistance and can feel the weakness returning slightly. I'm working hard to keep my wrist in neutral on both movements. My pressing strength has always been weak anyway so would love to clear this up.Any ideas what I can do to keep this from coming back? Where should I ice?
