There are several reasons that I don't like kipping, which have been discussed at length in previous threads.

However, the easy answer to your question is that the purpose of kipping is to do pullups faster. Since I don't program pullups "for time," there is no reason for people to kip.

Kipping is also banned.

So is doing high rep barbell lifts for conditioning.

So is whatever else I don't like.

If I want to make an exception to the rule, I can because it's my gym.

Seriously. It's a horrible place. I can't imagine why anyone would want to train with me.

Because you're awesome, of course. And now you even have your own troll to prove it

Habanero guava margarita today. It was my seventh day of training in a row. I needed something special.

Nope. Not interested in having that convo again.

Well, come on then. Today, I had one person from elsewhere in NC, one person from Ohio, two people from Florida, and two people from Tennessee.

Re: Touch and go vs. reseting.

Rip has a new platform video on SS about RDLs that touches on the issue of what happens when you constantly touch and go your deads.

Re: Touch and go vs. reseting.

Its a "DEAD" lift! There is no bounce, no cheating if its properly performed.
