After a good hard run followed by stretches I started doing pull ups. On the 14th or 15th pull up I got this wave of sharp pain that started in the lower back of my head and washed towards the front. I fell off the bar (dont worry I landed on my feet) but it dizzied me and made me stop working out for a few minutes. The headache lasted until late the next day.

Anyone know what might have caused this ?

Clifton, scroll down a couple of posts on this board. There is one entitled "Felt Like The Back of My Head Was Going To Blow Out." Sounds pretty much like what you went through.
