Anyone familiar with "Muscle Gaining Secrets" by Jason Ferruggia

I just got any email of this guy's book. Sounds almost to good to be true. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this or read about it and if its worth anyones time.

Please don't post links to gimmicks except to laugh at. And make sure you include if they are work or family safe.

If you want to gain muscle/lose fat then:
1. Fix your diet
2. Lift heavy
3. Do metcon/tabatas/HIIT/etc.

What do all of the above have in common? Hard work. There's no secret.

Like I said, it sounds to good to be true, I was't wanting people opinions on whether to go with it or not. I was wanting to know what type of program he says will work. The types of lifts, rep schemes, things like that, I know it is probably a bunch of bs, but i was courious. And it was sent to my from crossfit challenge

These kind of these sites remind me of Matt Furey's Combat Conditioning, the biggest succubus of my money that I have ever experienced, including titanium bike frames. Steven's dead on.

I doubt any CF site would knowingly link to something like this. My guess is it would be an ad or something, heh.

Also, considering I don't see a program... I can't critique anything...

Buy Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training by Rippetoe and Kilgore and you'll learn every secret that you'll need to know until you're an advanced lifter. I picked it up last fall and I expect that it'll be my most important strength building reference for the next decade, or two.

Two years ago, when I decided to get off the couch and eat better and exercise for the first time I got distracted by way too many high dollar e-books promising too much to be true. I wish that I had found CrossFit sooner and kept my money.

(Oh, and here's the secret that they won't tell you: you can find most of these electronic tomes on BitTorrent. If you find it and like it, then please reward the author by buying it. Some would question the ethics behind this advice, but I consider this the equivalent of browsing through the book in a bookstore to assess whether or not it's worth your purchase.)

It sounds all right to me. Jason Ferruggia is pretty well respected from what I've heard. Of course, there are no muscle gaining secrets, but I'm sure it'd be a fun/useful read. I don't think it's worth the money though.

Apparently not. I tryed with my computer and got this:

WARNING !
" The Joint Ethics Regulation and DOD and Army Regulations prohibit the use of government communications systems in a way that would reflect adversely upon the DoD or the Army. The site you have selected has been identified as an unauthorized site to visit using the Military Academy's computer network, which is part of the DoD Global Information Grid. Refer to the Academy's Computer Network Use Policy, your unit Information Management Officer (IMO) or your supervisor for more guidance. Violators may be punished."

Oh well, you kind of agree to this stuff so there's no sense complaining.
