Come on! There's gotta be a better way!

I fear the burpee, and I'm not afraid to say. Perhaps it's because I weigh much.
Then again, I am 5'9", and the floor is ever so far away.

Oh why, oh why can't I just deadlift my way through life?

I hate you burpees.

(Imagine whining, thrashing, and tearing of hair.)

YES! I hate 'em too! So let's get some!

Here's one that I've been doing lately. Great "fun!"

You have 4 minutes:
24-16-8
burpees & slam ball
for every second over 4 minutes you take you must, without rest, take 3 wall ball shots.

GO!

P.S. If you feel like your face is melting, well, it is.

Dan- I like the routine you have made up. The only problem being I do not have access to a slam ball. I think my homemade medicine ball may not dig the repeated impacts with the concrete. Do you or anyone else have any suggestions to mimic the same motion or type of exercise as the slam ball?

Sorry, friend.

Slamball is slamball. Burpees are burpees.

Ian, it's gonna suck whether you do slam or wall ball. Make the penalty tuck jumps or broad jumps or hitting yourself in the head with a hammer. So long as it's something other than what you did for the workout that also sucks when you're whipped. It doesn't really matter what the second exercise is so long as burpees are one of the exercises.

Thanks folks. I'll think of something wicked to take the place of slam ball.

Burpees are my exercise of love. I need to really try one of those 100 burpee sets for time now that my legs function again.

Well if you REALLY hate burpees, then try some 10-count bodybuilders. After about 50 of those you will be praying to do burpees.
