Hi, I can't find "The Overhead Squat" article by Dan John. Does anyone know the working link to it? Or maybe send it to me please?

Thanks!

Very inspiring article.

Has someone here achieved the 15 x BW OHS ? I give myself until end of the year.

Re: The Overhead Squat by Dan John...

There's a training circus performer at Windy City CrossFit who can probably do the 15x bodyweight at 215 lbs. I'd be willing to lay my life on the line and say that some top weightlifters (i.e. olympic lifters) can do it without a whole lot of effort. If you can snatch double bodyweight, it ought not be a problem.

in addition to the nicole video, there's also the "Jelli's Bodyweight OHS x 16" in the exercise demos page.

I will try BW OHS next week. I think I can squeeze out maybe 10, not sure about 15...

Re: The Overhead Squat by Dan John...

I have never tried this with weight. But I tried yesterday and it seems I have the flexibility, I tried with a safety pin from my power rack. After reading these articles by Dan John, I really want to do them now. I can't do BWx15 even in a regular backsquat, so I must be light years away from doing it with an OHS, heh.
