When I workout early (before breakfast), I like to have a shake afterwards. Scrambled eggs and vegies just doesn't seem very digestible after a tough WOD!

What do you guys think of the following shake:

1 Liter 2% milk
3 generous spoons protein powder
2 handfuls almond (about 30)
2 cups strawberries
2 spoons unsweatened cocoa powder (if I'm in the mood for chocolate)
1 Wheatabix

Blended with the hand mixer and drunk - actually, almost spooned, it's very thick and has a crunchy texture - with one fish oil capsule.

Is this a decent, big meal to start the day? (I'm aiming at a 5 block w/ 2x fat, plus WOD recovery.) It feels nice in the stomach. What do you think about the Wheatabix in there? Am I getting too many carbs or does the magic wod "recovery" justify the extra?

How do you guys combine breakfast and early workouts?
