Best Coach/Trainer Sayings!

I was talking with some of my friends recently about the hilarious one liners our coaches and trainers always had. For example:

"You are the d*** dumbest smart kid I've ever met!"

"Yall look almost as good as my last turd!"

Little gems of knowledge like that just make me misty. Feel free to also share other types of debasement at the hands of coaches, like getting hit in the helmet with the whistle, having run bleachers until someone threw up, having a full 2 hour practice of nothing but sprints, etc.

Ah, the pleasures of youth!

In high school my lacrosse coach once said, "You don't look like a lacrosse team, you all look like a ****ing picnic crew!"

I still don't know what a picnic crew is, and I don't believe I ever will.

Those Rip ones were quite good! Very insightful and inspiring. Here are some other quips from the world of Army Training:

(While running hills at PT) "Same way up, Same way down." - WHAT?!?

"Get the sand our of your v@g1n@, and get back to work."

A coach yelling "It's a race you are supposed to beat somebody!" at a runner struggling to finish a 15k still brings a chuckle.

My HS football coach once told me that I needed to be lined up a c-word hair to the left. Interesting.

OMG...these are hilarious! I don't think the women's coaches were quite as "colorful" and I feel like I've missed out on some really great humour!!

Many years of swimming, softball and basketball, and I don't have a single interesting quote to share.
