Re: Vibram 5 fingers

Yeah, I have to pull my pinky toe over to get it in its slot, too, but it's comfy after that (I have Sprints).

I'd love to hear it if folks are doing a full range of WODs in VFFs, too... oh, never mind - just saw this thread: http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=46099

Question answered!

Re: Vibram 5 fingers

I'm considering getting some Vibrams. Would you recommend buying them blind over the internet, or do you think that they must be tried on first, to get the size perfect? How important is it that the fit just right?

Definitely try them on. I tried the whole sizing guidelines they have, but peoples feet are so different you really need to see for yourself. And when you do try them on if it is a little tight its okay, they will loosen up. I love mine... but trust me, try them on

Re: Vibram 5 fingers

I would definitely find a place to try them on, but if you can't, when I first bought mine the customer service was awesome. I bought a pair blind and wasn't convinced that they were the right size so they sent me the next smallest size for free before I ever even returned the first pair and said just send whichever pair back when you get a chance. Thought that was pretty cool. Hopefully they'd still be just as helpful.

Re: Vibram 5 fingers

I think it just depends on how weird your feet are. I've actually never tried on a pair in a store though I did order two sizes the first go round (and I just sent the wrong size, which was too big, back -- I was between sizes and went with the lower size).

Your mileage may vary, of course.
