Printing out the thread in one long file

Hello, I was wandering around (as every day) the board, found the thread on Crossfit on T-Nation, the big one which is on the community subforum.
My question is: there's a way to save it automatically in one long file, so I can print/import it in a wordpro, and then reading it in a more confortable way (at least for me)? I know I could just go to the printable version, but it would still be 13 or more files to download, then maybe link together, print.....
Yes I know I'm lazy but I f there's a way...
Thanks

PS: of course that would be useful for whatever long thread you want to save and print, of course

Hmmm.

Set your options to show the maximum # of posts / page (I think it's 50).

Highlight / Copy / Paste into Word or other software / Print.

(Best I can offer, sorry.)

Yes, already tried this, I suspected there wasn't any more other options, but asking doesn't hurt.
Seems really like I have to put away my laziness and start editing again with a wordpro .
Thanks alot David.

David, I have used a forum using the same platform as Crossfit that offered a "print thread to PDF" option under the thread tools box.

I'll rack my brains and try to remember the name and post the link later so you can check it yourself if you wish.

We do have the "Show Printable Version" option under thread tools . . . but that still only shows a certain # of posts / page (I think you can raise it to 40 right there (if you're not already using that number)).

Drops the avatar images, text only, but it's easier than copying & pasting into another program.

Sorry for not mentioning this earlier, I sort of assumed that the user wanted the images.

Fabiano

I've finally remembered the name of the forum. If you go to an individual thread and look under thread tools you find the option "download to PDF" which then presents the entire thread as a PDF within your current internet explorer tab

http://www.irontrybe.com/forum/

forum discussing strongman/powerlifiting/Bodybuilding etc - WFS just, in my opinion

David, if you could get this function up and running on this site a lot of people would be very pleased

Re: Printing out the thread in one long file

The plugin looks pretty easy to install from a technical perspective, but it requires customization of additional templates to style the PDF. We don't have the resources for that work right now.
