Hey all... well the move down to New Mexico is complete (no longer up in Alaska). Well due to the move I was unable to crossfit or really work out for about 3 weeks. I maintained a very strict diet and cut my caloric intake roughly in half and just ate when I was hungry. So after that kind of break here's some interesting things I noticed:

-fastest mile slowed down almost a minute (I blame the altitude :biggrin:)

-max set of dead hang pullups increased by 10 reps (guess I had some injured tissues in need of recovery)

-body fat dropped

-lost 3lbs

-Increases in 1RM in every exercise I've tried thus far.

Ben, that's great news. Perhaps the moving was a workout in & of itself?

well, conditioning supposedly starts decreasing after a week, while strength takes much longer...probably explains both the mile suckage and the 1RM increases...
