Re: Dietary Confessions of a Crossfitter

Well for my last cheat day I had a rib eating competition with a buddy. 11 slabs of beef ribs. Just a little excessive, but at least I won...then had to be helped to my truck

Re: Dietary Confessions of a Crossfitter

Glad to see I'm not crazy, I was beginning to think everyone on these boards was a paleo zone no-cheat king; and I was the only banana cheating on the weekends. CF is the only place in the world where there are vegetables and fruits that are "bad' for you! Anyway, I cheat for at least one entire day per weekend.

Shoot me.

Re: Dietary Confessions of a Crossfitter

pretty sure I ate that tub of icecream and that entire pumpkin pie in about 5 hours. Also that pad-see-ew topped it off quite nicely.

I'm maintaining that that carbo load fueled CFT PRs.

OH.....MY....GOD...I wonder if they have that at all locations...

Re: Dietary Confessions of a Crossfitter

Friday:
espresso brownie remnants (mostly crumbs and chocolate chips), 3 home made peanut butter balls (peanut butter, coconut, chocolate rolled up into little balls), a huge mint chip sundae with whipped cream, a mint truffle, chocolate sauce; a small square of pumpkin pie fudge; and a Berger cookie (http://www.bergercookies.com/history.htm wfs)

Mmmm good.

Re: Dietary Confessions of a Crossfitter

I'm at home with a cold. Husband goes to basketball on Sunday morning, and comes home with a baguette of white bread from "the pusher." (the guy that gets day old bread from the bakery, and then redistributes box loads of it every weekend to local charities, and to the guys at basketball). I've told husband not to bring that white bread crap home, but he can't say no to "the pusher."

Husband makes french toast out of the baguette. I had many many pieces of it. White bread covered in fake maple syrup made from high fructose corn syrup. OMG...it was sooooo good. I couldn't stop eating it.

Later in day, must make a run to drug store to buy more Kleenex. Also come home with milk chocolate covered orange marshmallow treat, chocolate chip cookies, and red vines.

Oh yea, and a diet coke, which I rarely ever drink.

Smile Re: Dietary Confessions of a Crossfitter

Last Friday, after a couple of particularly annoying days, I proceeded to eat a Charley's Philly Cheese steak with fries covered in cheese sauce and ranch dressing, all washed down with a Monster Java. Only to be followed up with a slightly healthy dinner at the DFAC, but completed with 1 slice of Devil Cake, 2 scoops of ice cream (pralines n cream/almond mocha) and 1 white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie. It felt good....Gotta love the DFAC's (chow halls) in the Middle East, great food, hard to resist.

Today I had a very large sandwich with focaccia bread. This is after almost 3 months of mostly not eating breads. It did not feel so good.

Monster Javas and "froo froo" coffees have been a staple the past couple of weeks.

I wonder what they are serving for mid-rats tonight? I'm hungry after all this typing of food.

I don't know - but it is a great cheat. Next time - I'll have them add bacon!

Re: Dietary Confessions of a Crossfitter

if it makes you all feel better...

I had a dozen pancakes and an omelet for breakfast... followed by endless amounts of dim sum plates and a few desserts including ice cream (half a pint) and a crepe with at least half a cup of nutella, bananas, and strawberries and another half pint of ice cream. Later on was 20 wings and a whole medium sized deep dish pizza followed by a pint of ice cream and half a dozen big coffee toffee cookies. First pint of ice cream was breyers coffee and the second was the whole container of ben and jerrys oatmeal cookie chunk, and still hungry.

forgot to mention the chocolate croissant, 2 cupcakes, and espresso tartalette.
