Re: Camille the newb

Thanks...that simplifies things! I'll keep my eye out for a scale. For the moment, I'm trying to use the chart in CF Journal 21 with measurements.
On another note, I am finally down to below 153! The darn scale hadn't moved in weeks, bouncing above 153.
Last night again at about 4:30, I started feeling like crud. I took an aspirin at work and I had a cup of really weak coffee when I got home. Then I headed out snowboarding- felt great boarding!
I feel like my body is tearing down and building back up and that is just sucking it out of me.
Probably do a light WOD today. No swimming tho.

Re: Camille the newb

So yesterday I did no exercise at all. In fact, I tried to get into bed at 7:30. I didn't get enough sleep all week.
I ate in the zone all day, and then someone came home with pizza at about 8. I had two slices. Well, at least I've been putting better quality food into me.
S told me that I "feel skinnier"! The scale isn't doing much but bouncing around 154, 153. Yesterday 152 and 151.5 a few times in the am, but today back to 154. Let's measure:
Waist 36
Hips and butt- 40
Chest- 36.5
r thigh- 20.5
l thigh 21
r bi-11.5
l bi- 11.5

I'll probably do a slow WOD puppy level. Maybe go snowboarding since we have fresh snow.

Re: Camille the newb

10-8-6-4-2 reps of the triplet:

Deadlift: 125
Bench press: 70
Clean: 70

13:51
I can't stand up straight without shaking. Felt nauseated during round 2.

Took a few days off before this.
My pics of the week look like I slid backwards- maybe from the pizza Friday night.
Not sure that I can follow the zone. It's a lot of effort for work and home to eat like that....

Re: Camille the newb

Swam about 1/2 hour during lunch. Felt a bit sluggish and winded.
Quite sore from yesterdays' WOD.
Have that twitch in my l eye-electrolytes?
Trying to psych up for tonight's WOD.

Heh, yeah, what I didn't mention is that I haven't used my scale in a while . Zoning is hard, I eyeball things and focus more on the quality than the quantity while trying to have all three macronutrients in each meal. However, once my kitchen gets put back together I'll be rededicating myself to zoning. I guess I'm tabata zoning .

Re: Camille the newb

Tabata zone....I love it! I think I'll give it more of a whirl maybe at work. It just got so hard on the weekends. I've been focusing on getting enough calories in me and I just couldn't do it on the zone. I know some people don't look at food that way, but that's what I've been doing for about 2-3 months now. One thing at a time...
Today's WO:

Puppies:
For time:
20 Box jump, 10-15 inch box 15"
20 Jumping pull-ups
20 Kettlebell swings, 12kg 20lbs
Walking Lunge, 20 steps
20 Ab-Mat Sit-ups
20 Push press, 25-30 pounds 20lbs
20 Back extensions
20 Wall ball shots, 10-16 pound ball 20lb thrusters
20 Burpees UGH!
20 Standard Jump Rope Jumps no rope-pretended

Re: Camille the newb

Ugh..I feel sick today-nauseated. There is a stomach virus going around. I'm going to rest today-came home from work....

I started having that twitch in my eye yesterday and this morning was having irregular heartbeats. I took Mg, Ca and a multivitamin to see if that might help.
May not be doing any working out today darnit.

Re: Camille the newb

OK, I never threw up-thank God. I did sleep for about 5 hours in the middle of the day. That's odd for me. And I feel like I could do it again.
Maybe I'll try zone again.... tabata zone lol
I feel like I'm putting on some fat....or bloated or something.

Re: Camille the newb

I'm definitely retaining water for some reason-about 4 lbs. My eyes are all puffy. I'm going to try to drink it away... let's see how it works.

Re: Camille the newb

Hey Camille, I hope you are feeling better. If you had been sick you may still be retaining a little water. Keep drinking fluids. Your body should regulate in a few days.
