Tuesday 080129

Loooong day of work today, ugh. Wanted to feel a little load before my WOD. Some brief deadlifting :

DL : 4 x 130kg - 2 x 150 - 1 x 170 (this is my last PR, and I did it explosively today. I'll destroy it in 1 month when I go for a max again ! I'm so happy)

Enough gas left (I thought) for my first Joshie.

3 rounds for time of :

40lbs db 1 arm snatch x 21 (right hand)
21 L pull-ups
40lbs db 1 arm snatch x 21 (left hand)
21 L pull-ups

subbed L pull-ups for M pull-ups. Snatches were full squatted.

===> 33'55". Felt like the hardest WOD ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday 080130 + Thursday 080131

Yesterday :

front squats 5 x 80kg - 80 - 80


62,5 kg of :

shoulder press 3 x 1's
push press 3 x 3's
push jerk 3 x 5's

And I coached two buddies into their first Cindy, it was a lot of fun

Today :

Grace

30 C&J for time at 135lbs, had to use 62,5kg. + 1kg doesn't hurt

5'57"

Happy with the split jerk form !

Rest day tomorrow I still need to recover from that leathal Joshie !

Surprisingly, the sit-ups were the most difficult part !

Chose for an Oly wod from Mike Burgener's website, I'm going to start doing it once a week, they're great !

1st complex : power snatch-OHS-hang snatch-snatch

complex x 4 => 40kg - 52,5 - 57,5 - 60

2nd complex : power clean-front squat-hang clean-clean & jerk

complex x 6 => 62,5 - 72,5 - 80 - 80 - 82,5 - 62,5

Then just a set of OHS 62,5 x 5


Today :

For time

SDHP 42,5kg
KTE's
