which is your favorite affiliate website?

who's website do you think is the very best out in the community? I'm in the process of adjusting my site so i would love to hear from the community on which site they like to most and why. This is question only for non-affiliate owners since we all think our own kids are the best looking kids in the world

feel free to critique my site also!

thanks!

Re: which is your favorite affiliate website?

The blogs I check almost daily are based on 1.) personnel 2.) history 3.) site design and 4.) posting frequency. That said, I visit (typically in the same order):

One World
NYC
Unlimited
Central
San Diego
Santa Cruz
Santa Clara
NorCal

Re: which is your favorite affiliate website?

I check many on a daily basis but since you are looking for quality sites to model off of, I would say the following are great examples:

CF Invictus - not only a nice looking site but great programming and some great additional material multiple times a week.

CF BWI - Mostly just a great looking website. Usually they only post the WOD though and maybe a link or two.

CF NYC - Not the best looking, but very informative and they always have a plethora of links to other sites with great articles. Whoever does this one must spent alot of time paging through TONS of other affiliate websites/blogs to gather all that info.

CF One World - Freddy C. is the man and his color commentary is great. He often posts youtube videos as well.

I would say that quality of content should come before aesthetics. That means quality WODs, some original content in the form of commentary or articles or testimonials, some links to insightful and useful information, and maybe the random video to inspire, instruct, or just entertain.

Re: which is your favorite affiliate website?

I have visited almost every single site (well over 1000). The above mentioned sites are all excellent and some would have made my list. Here are a few that haven't been mentioned yet.

Mike Stehle's site Crossfit Jersey Shore (Avon by the Sea) is excellent for Kettlebell workouts

Crossfitendurance.com is excellent and now posting regular WODS that are very strength intensive.

www.CrossfitBalboa.com great source of articles

San Francisco Crossfit also has great articles.

diablo crossfit is another favorite.

Crossfitvirtuosity.com has great articles and often posts 3 WODS with excellent programming.

Catalyst Athletics site is phenomenal.

Crossfit Calgary has some quality programming.

Kansas City Crossfit (Rutherford's site)

Dutch's Blog is also excellent.

CrossFit Invictus www.crossfitinvictus.com (WFS) has not been mentioned yet, but they are always posting original content and articles.

Another good resource is Lisbeth's CrossFit Watertown www.crossfitwatertown.com (WFS) ... lots of good material there as well.

I visit most that have been mentioned. I really like Freddy's humor at CrossFit One World but #1 has to be Again Faster. Jon Gilson doesn't post articles daily but there's plenty there to keep you busy for a while. His instructional videos are great too.

Thanks, Paul!

I have to say all of these are great -- and I love the Invictus site as well.

Also, try www.crossfitfire.com for Jennie's zest for life and CrossFit. Even on the most down of days, she can pick you up.

CrossFit West Santa Cruz has some great content.

Oh -- and if you do visit the CrossFit Watertown site, try clicking on the "Articles" button -- that's where we keep the good stuff: http://www.crossfitwatertown.com/cat...ticles-by-cfw/
