Energy depletion.. normal?

I just started the paleo diet about 4 days ago. My problem is that I seem to lack tons of energy. Where I normally would go from work to coaching/lifting, I now feel like I want to take a nap.

Is this low energy level normal?

What did you eat before? how much/what are you eating now?

If you were eating a ton of processed carbs, yes, there is a transitional period where your body really, really wants that sugar hit. Wait it out.

Additionally, removing processed carbs from your diet also removes what could be a significant amount of calories. If you aren't replacing those calories you could be bonking from pure lack of calories. 1 cup of spinach does not equal the calories in a cup of pasta. Eat more fat.
