Has anyone been able to add pure muscle mass while following frequently CF WOD's?

hell yeah! i can honestly say that i've gained about 7 lbs., and i know most of it is muscle, since i weight 7lbs. more than when i started crossfit, and have less bodyfat as well. i still have a way to go, but like robert wolf told me when i forst started, it will be a slow process! i seem to have hit a brick wall in the last few months though with gaining mass. i am getting stronger slowly, but can add the weight.

Hi Brad,
I ment that when you gain weight you also gain some fat so how much of that gain is "pure" muscle? Maybe this is a bit stupid question since its hard to know the exact portion of both... Ari ps. I'm not a native speaker so sometimes may sentences maybe a bit confusing... |

Ari,
I've been speaking english for 29 years, and I still make mistakes and get confused sometimes. :-) I have added muscle mass and lowered body fat levels with crossfit over the past year. I've noticed the largest gains in my lower body. I'm willing to bet you'll get plenty of functional muscle mass on the crossfit system! Brad |
