Christin and Chris,

Thank you so much for recovery wishes. I am finally feeling much better. This one seemed to really hang on, and though I didn't get a sick as most people, I felt pretty miserable.

Monday, 12/15/08:

No organized WOD today.

Functional Workout:

"Real Shoveling" and Snow Blower Wrangling: 1 1/2 hours.
Wrangled and "threw" around 250# snow blower and shoveled a foot of snow. Approximately 1200 Sq. Feet (total moved = 1200 cubic feet of snow).
Not included: Time to repair broken shear pin on snow blower.......

Nutrition:

Still feeling effects of sickness - - not really hungry.
Morning coffee w/creamer 16 oz, plus raw sugar.

Linner (Lunch/Dinner)
8 oz serving of homemade split pea w/ham soup
Medium green salad with 4 oz tri tip
1/2 C mushrooms
1 Tbsp blue cheese crumbles
2 Tbsp cabernet vinaigrette dressing

Snack:
1 medium apple
2 Tbsp organic natural peanut butter

Water:
60 oz + approx.

Tuesday, 12/16/08:

small dinner salad
2 Tbsp balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Snack:
1 medium apple
2 Tbsp organic natural peanut butter

Water:
80 oz. approx.

Things are really hectic - - preparing to have a house full over the holidays and looking for a PT job.......so I will probably miss some of the outstanding work everyone is doing. Wow. That's some serious shoveling. In Texas, the only thing we shovel that much of is... well, something else.

Thank you, Elizabeth! I'm a bit tardy in catching up on my log. We've been so busy getting the house ready......no time to work out at all - - - BLEH!! I'm feeling it too!

REST DAY. No new snow to mess with, no time to hit the globo, or even to do a WOD at home.......BLEH!!! Really feeling not doing a regular, solid workout.....

Nutrition:

Breakfast:

English muffin with egg and low fat turkey bacon sandwich
1 oz. low fat swiss cheese included.
16 oz coffee w/creamer, raw sugar

Lunch:
8 oz bowl split pea w/ ham soup (homemade)
1 slice garlic pepperoni pizza

Dinner:
8 oz homemade black bean chili
2 small slices buttered sourdough toast

Snack:
1 medium apple

Water:
60 oz.

Thursday, 12/18/08:

NO WO TODAY......No time, even at home. Hoping to go tomorrow.......

Nutrition:

Breakfast:
1 No flour, rolled oat, peanut, and chocolate chip cookie
16 oz coffee w/creamer, raw sugar, and a 12 oz approx. refill.....

Lunch:
2 slices garlic pepperoni pizza

Snack:
approx. 1 doz. baby carrots
approx. 8 mushrooms
2 Tbsp garlic ranch dressing as dip. (I like garlic - - can't you tell?????)

Dinner:
6 oz chicken breast nuggets w/ lemon juice
1/2 C steamed green beans

Snack:
1 medium apple

Water:
approx. 60 oz.....not enough!
