Not sure if this has been posted by anyone already:

Omega-3, junk food and the link between violence and what we eat

The results from the study are showing ~37% decrease in violent offenses and ~26% decrease in overall offenses for prisoners whose diet was switched to one whose EFA composition was balanced (as opposed to the now-customary omega-6-heavy regimen -- more discussion of this in the article).

Interesting writeup and as usual the reporter for the Guardian takes statements from both sides of the argument. Worth a read if you've not seen it before.

basically junk food and sugar short circuits the brain....DHA/EPA has also been shown to help people with seizures, ADD, etc....brain related issues.

Can't put Coke into your fuel tank and expect your engine to work properly....
