Slightly urgent question!

I'mpicking up a pair of PVC parallettes a little later this evening from some guy off craigslist (PVC happens to be quite expensive in toronto for some reason)

What should I look for in terms of quality? I've never used pvc parallettes before so I don't really know that well....

Not much really. I guess just No visible cracks and the pieces are stuck together decently. PVC is not indestructible so just be careful with them.

Re: Slightly urgent question!

I just made a set this week. I would make sure that pipe extends well into the elbows. Lean on them, use them and make sure they hold your weight without creeking or bowing. Good luck.

No, $25. Materials to make a full set cost about $50. PVC is crazy expensive here for some reason.

and I got them earlier, they seem quite sturdy, and the guy who made them and used them once or twice in the year hes had them is 200#, i weigh 135#. So I think I'm set.

Re: Slightly urgent question!

Dang that is crazy. I think I could build a set out of steel pipe for that much.

Glad they're working for you though!

Yea, I was really surprised when I added up costs. How much would a pair of parallettes cost down there?
