Hello everyone,

I'm often using real food content information from an excel spreadsheet to plan «Zone» meals. I would suggest that it is more accurate than the «block chart» in terms of protein/carb/fat ratio.

But I'm also pretty shure that eating 90% zone using the «Block chart» method may produce better results than eating Zone more accurately but with less compliance. I estimate that I eat around 60% Zone.

Who uses block chart and who uses real food content info? Have you experimented with that?

Any idea or comments welcomed!

Regards,

Phil

Philippe, I think we all use a combo of both. I look at a bag a mixed vegatables and know I need 45g to get my block allotment, an apple is 2 blocks so now I only need 3 blocks (27g) of mixed vegs, I measure it out and I'm there. Once you get used to it it's pretty easy and you know the block amounts for your regular food rotation.
