Seems like you could accomplish the same thing for a fraction of the price with a power cage.

Re: Anyone seen this device yet

saw the informercial.

it is a lot more aesthetically pleasing than most pullup towers. however, for that price you could have a blacksmith forge you something up pretty for a third of that if not a fifth that would be nearly as pretty. maybe they could make it all curvy and round too.

remember, it's not the equipment that costs you a grand a half, it's the program too...

i'm sure fat rich people will get lots of these which is exactly who they designed them for.

You got to be kidding me!
Seriously, though, I bet you could hang a lot of clothes on it.

i do admit... it appeals to the designer in me..... very pretty.....

i'll just walk across the road and use the monkey bars at my local park..... they got prettier colours...

i saw a chair for sale in a christmas catalogue. it was designed to "achieve maximum stationary caloric uptake".... translates to i burn more calories sitting down... it works by cooling your butt whilst warming your back and vice versa....

Just out of curiousity Ardi, what did your program look like before CrossFit? :stir:

The fact is, CrossFit isn't for everyone; SoloStrength and Bowflex are a hell of lot better than sitting on the couch. Too bad not everyone can be a fitness genius like you, though.

Free weight program. Regular deadlifts, squats and other compound lifts. Why do you ask? I'm smelling a bowflex owner that is apparently fooled into the good marketing ploys from bowflex. Just a good pointer for your future purchases, DON'T buy anything advertised on TV.

Also, walking is alot better than sitting on the couch too, but it will not give the results that every weightlifter want, now will it?
