I have frozen grass-fed beef liver as part of my mixed quarter and problem is there is quite a bit of liver but its frozen solid so I can't eat it small bits at a time. Any ideas for cutting it while its frozen so I don't have to use it all up at once? I could get out the table saw but that sounds a bit ridiculous, maybe I'll just partially thaw it, cut it, and then re-freeze it..

Greg; depending where you buy the frozen liver, some shops will cut it for you complimentary. Doesn't hurt to ask.

It was from a 1/4 cow i got from a local CSA in the fall, for some reason they packaged the liver in like a big ball so it was hard as heck to cut! I actually did use a saw a while back on it but this time around I was like no way that was way too much effort. I had to let it thaw a bit and then use my henckel chef knife.. anyway I doubt it will matter much that it thawed a bit before being refrozen.
