whats up xfitters, what are double unders, I tried to look at this under the exercise descriptions but can't figure out how to open with my computer. Thanks, Fitzy the non-computer guy.

While jumping rope, for each jump have the rope pass under your feet two times.

The progression:

Single jump, try them fast. Up to 100 without stopping or messing up.

Then jumping rope while running. Same as above.

Then try to put in some double unders...

I can do over 300 double legged hop and alt with running in place without stopping or messing up but man those double unders are difficult i can only seem to get 2 or 3 without screwing up, oh well maybe one day i can run with the big dawgs

Do people here do consecutive double unders?

Myself, I go double under, normal skip, double under, normal skip, etc. That's tough enough...

Chris,

That's how i used to do them for the longest time then one day I was just messing around with a jump rope for my warmup and I was just hitting them 1 after another...ok more like a total of 9 in a row but it all of a sudden just clicked. Then again every other time I'm doing double unders it's usually part of some chipper and I'm already kind of fatigued by then so maybe that has something to do with it also.
